Ceilings, cornices, doors, windows, trims and fencing — the detail work that decides whether a room reads as finished. A perfect wall under a patchy ceiling still looks like a patchy room.
This is slow, fiddly work and it is exactly where a cheap quote quietly saves its money. We price it honestly, cut it in by hand, and take doors off to spray them where we can.

Ceilings
A genuine flat, not a low-sheen. Anything with sheen picks up every roller lap and plaster imperfection under downlights.
Cornices and bulkheads
Cornice, bulkhead and shadowline work cut in by hand, so the join between wall and ceiling is a line rather than a smudge.
Doors and frames
Taken off and sprayed where we can. A sprayed door has no brush texture and reads as new joinery rather than a repaint.
Windows and trims
Architraves, skirtings and window frames sanded back and primed properly, so the new coat holds at the first knock.
Stain sealing
Water staining bleeds back through waterborne paint within weeks. It gets a blocking sealer first, and we flag the leak to you.
Fencing and gates
Timber and metal both. Metal gets rust treatment and a suitable primer, or it bubbles through by the next summer.

Colours and sheens settled
Flat on ceilings, semi-gloss or gloss on doors and trims. We confirm the sheen before we start, not after.
Protection and preparation
Everything covered, then filling, sanding, stain sealing and priming — the part that decides how long it holds.
Coats applied
Sprayed where spraying suits, brushed and cut in by hand where it does not. Cleaned down at the end of every day.
Walk through together
We check the lines and edges with you and fix anything you are not happy with before we invoice.

Can you paint just one room or one ceiling?
Yes. Small jobs are welcome and quoted the same way as large ones — fixed price, in writing.
My ceiling has water stains. Can they be covered?
They need sealing, not covering. We use a stain-blocking sealer so they cannot bleed back, and we will point out the leak that caused them.
Do you paint fences and gates?
Timber and metal both. Metal gets rust treatment and a suitable primer first so it does not bubble through next summer.
