Feature walls, whole rooms, murals and commercial wallcoverings — hung with the pattern matched and the joins tight. We also strip old paper off and leave the wall ready for whatever comes next.
Wallpaper punishes a badly prepared wall. Bubbles, lifting edges and visible joins almost always trace back to what was underneath, so the wall gets filled, sanded, sealed and primed before a single drop goes on.

Wall preparation
Filled, sanded, cleaned and sealed. This is the part that decides whether the joins stay flat in a year.
Hung or stripped
Cut, matched and trimmed around windows, doors and fittings — or the old paper softened, lifted and the adhesive washed off.
Final check and clean-up
We go over the seams and edges with you, clear the offcuts and leave the room tidy.

How much does wallpaper installation cost?
The cost depends on the wall size, wallpaper type, pattern repeat, wall condition and amount of preparation required. Large patterns, murals and walls with several doors, windows or corners can require more time than a simple feature wall.
Does All Star Painting install wallpaper?
Yes. All Star Painting installs suitable traditional wallpaper, patterned wallpaper, murals, textured wall coverings and some peel-and-stick products.
Do you remove old wallpaper?
Yes. We remove suitable old wallpaper and adhesive before repairing, priming and repainting the wall or installing new wallpaper.
Can you install wallpaper on a feature wall?
Yes. Feature-wall installation is one of the most popular wallpaper applications and can be completed in bedrooms, living rooms, offices and commercial spaces.
Do walls need to be smooth before wallpapering?
Yes. Wallpaper generally looks best on a smooth, clean and properly prepared surface. Holes, cracks, raised patches and loose paint should be repaired first.
Can wallpaper hide cracks and damaged plaster?
Wallpaper may reduce the visibility of very small imperfections, but it should not be used to cover damaged or unstable plaster. Cracks and holes should be repaired before installation.
Can wallpaper be installed over existing wallpaper?
It may be physically possible in some situations, but it is generally better to remove the existing wallpaper and prepare the wall properly.
How long does wallpaper installation take?
The timeframe depends on the wall size, design complexity, pattern matching and surface preparation. A simple feature wall may be completed relatively quickly, while larger rooms or murals require more time.
Should I buy extra wallpaper?
Yes. Additional material may be needed for pattern matching, cutting waste and future repairs. All rolls should ideally have the same batch number.
Can you paint a wall after removing wallpaper?
Yes. All Star Painting can remove the wallpaper, clean adhesive residue, repair the surface, apply a suitable primer and repaint the wall.
Why is wallpaper glue difficult to paint over?
Wallpaper adhesive can reactivate when wet paint is applied. It may cause cracking, bubbling, staining or uneven sheen. The glue should be removed and the wall properly sealed before painting.
Can you remove wallpaper without damaging the wall?
Careful removal can reduce damage, but the final condition depends on how the wall was prepared and how strongly the wallpaper is bonded. Some repairs may still be required.
Do you install peel-and-stick wallpaper?
Suitable peel-and-stick wallpaper can be installed when the wall is smooth, clean, dry and compatible with the product's adhesive.
Can wallpaper be installed in a bathroom?
Some wallpaper may be suitable for well-ventilated bathroom areas that are not exposed to direct water. The manufacturer's recommendations should be checked before installation.
Can you repair walls damaged by wallpaper removal?
Yes. All Star Painting can complete suitable plaster repairs, sanding, sealing and painting after wallpaper has been removed.
