Price the fence at the same time as the house
It is worth having the fencing measured with the house rather than after it, for two reasons. The obvious one is that a freshly coated house makes twenty-year-old paling look far worse than it did the week before. The less obvious one is that doing both in the same visit is cheaper than doing them in two — the set-up, the access and the travel are already paid for.
You do not have to commit to it. Ask for the fencing as a separate line on the quote and decide when you see the number.
Choosing colours before we start
We settle the scheme before the first coat, not during it. Bring your own colours or use ours, and we will sample them on your actual walls so you see them in your own light rather than under a shop fluoro — which is where most colour regrets begin.
On render, we will also talk you through how a colour behaves in full sun, because the deep tones that look sharp on a chart are the first to shift on a west wall.
