More than one building, and no neighbours to lean on

On an acreage block the house is usually the smaller half of the quote. There is a shed, often a large one, sometimes stables or a workshop, a water tank, a pump housing, and a run of fencing measured in hundreds of metres rather than tens. The complication is services. Bore or tank water instead of mains, a septic system somewhere under the lawn, and a driveway that a loaded ute can churn up in wet weather. We ask about all three before quoting, because washing down a large exterior uses a lot of water and it is not our call to empty somebody's tank without asking first.
